St. Paul's and every Catholic Church in the Diocese of St. Petersburg will be open for the Sacrament of Reconciliation between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12th. You may stop in and make an individual confession on your way home from work, school or wherever you may be.
At 7:00 p.m., St. Paul’s will have a meditative prayer service, with a focus on praying for spiritual, emotional, and physical healing for ourselves, for those whom we love, and for the world. Msgr. Gibbons will conduct the service. The service will feature scripture, as well as music in the tradition of the monastery of Taize, France.
Our weekly sessions on Fr. James Martin's book, "My Life with the Saints," will continue next Tuesday, March 3rd, from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Please read the chapters on St. Joan of Arc and St. Francis of Assisi in preparation for the March 3rd session. (We had 60 people at our initial meeting, on Feb. 24th) Everyone is invited even if you miss some meetings.
Set-up for the Festival begin Sunday, March 8th, at 12:30 p.m., on the field behind the Church. Help with set-up will also be needed on the three next days as well, March 9th-11th (Monday through Wednesday.) Everyone is welcome to come out and pitch in, on any or all of the days. Your generosity of time is greatly appreciated. School parents earn “HOPE”
hours for help with set-up.
Discount priced ride ticket sheets (@$15) and four-day wrist-bands (@$80) are now on sale in the parish office, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. Last day for discount price is Wednesday, March 11th.
