Msgr. Gibbons will lead a four-week study of Pope Francis’ encyclical letter, “Laudato Si’: On Care for Our Common Home.” We will discuss how the Pope proposes an “integral ecology” as a response to the environmental crisis he outlines. Meet in the Parish Center on four consecutive Wednesdays, from noon till 1 p.m., beginning Oct. 14th. Please read Chapter One before the first meeting. The encyclical can be downloaded or purchased on-line. Copies are in the parish office for $10. Bring your lunch.
St. Paul’s is sponsoring an on-campus “Men’s Retreat,” for all the men of the parish, on Friday evening, Oct. 23rd, and Saturday, Oct. 24th, concluding with the 5:30 p.m. Mass. This is an opportunity to deepen our commitment to God and grow in our Catholic faith----through prayer, Scripture, and witness----in the context of the brotherhood we share with our fellow parishioners. Register for the retreat by contacting the parish office, or by going to the retreat Facebook event page by searching, “Building Faith: Men's Retreat - St. Paul's Catholic Church Fall 2015.”
