Hello Sister Columbiettes,
Well, we're back in motion again. "Oh, the Places 'We' Will Go." I hope you share in my excitement at the prospect of what we can accomplish within our auxiliary now having the benefit of a full term. Retrospectively, take great pride in what we had accomplished in such a short time since our inception - six months to be exact. The results of our efforts were not only realized through all the thank yous received over the summer and shared with our auxiliary on Tuesday, but by our auxiliary's receipt of Supreme's Margaret Mary J. Mangan Award. The MMJM Award will be presented to us by our Deputy District Director at our October meeting.
An organizational State Columbiette meeting is planned September 23rd in Sebring. We look forward to learning new and creative ideas to ensure the continued operation and success of our auxiliary. We welcomed five new members just before reconvening. With every new member our auxiliary is that much stronger, that much closer to reaching out to someone. Together, everyone accomplishes more. We are now at 62 parishioners - 62 of the 14,200 Columbiettes nationwide. Please take the time to invite friends and family members to join us. Come for fellowship, come for fun, come for friends, but most importantly, come for yourself.
"A person's true wealth is the good he or she does in the world." Thank you and God Bless, Mary Rachel
