Lay Pastoral Ministry Institute
Interested in deepening your faith? The Lay Pastoral Ministry Institute (LPMI), sponsored by the Diocese of St. Petersburg, offers
opportunities to enhance your Catholic faith and prepare academically and spiritually to serve the Church. For information on the
initial component of the LPMI, called the "Year of Discernment," go to http://dosp-lpmi.catholicweb.com/.
Diocese's Annual Pastoral Appeal (APA) for 2010
All parishioners are urged to make a financial pledge to the APA. The APA funds the apostolic works of the Diocese of St. Petersburg, including
education of seminarians; support for Catholic schools, Catholic Charities; professional support for parishes on real estate, insurance,
legal, construction, and administrative issues; support for the Holy Father, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and Florida
Catholic Conference; and offices for religious formation and liturgy. Any funds given by St. Paul's parishioners to the APA reduces
dollar-for-dollar the parish's assessment obligation to the diocese, thus directly benefitting the parish financially. To make a pledge,
click on ONLINE PAYMENTS on this home page,
then click on "Pastoral Appeal Gift."
